Unconscious of thought
I dig my fingers
into
damp black earth
A white grub appears
in my hand
His clean yellow
white body
orange head
transparent
green legs
sings out the song
of beauty

 

As love rises
in my heart
a thin red line
runs up the stem
of a leaf
dissolves into
yellow
that travels over
soft green

I see only new growth
energy
that speaks of

tolerance
to grow and mix
with what
